Co-created by percussionist and sound artist Renzo Spiteri and flautist Richard Craig, the performance weaves live improvisation with Spiteri’s percussion, electronics, and field recordings and Craig’s flutes. Each presentation becomes a unique encounter where structure meets spontaneity, presence meets memory ??

Bringing Nordic Resonance to Malta creates a powerful contrast between Shetland’s expansive acoustic openness and Malta’s dense, vibrant soundscape, prompting reflection on how place shapes what—and how—we hear. Presented at Spazju Kreattiv, the work offers an alternative listening experience: an invitation to pause, attune, and reconnect with the sonic environments we inhabit. 

In an increasingly noisy world, Nordic Resonance becomes a rare moment of grounding, awareness, and resonance across geographies.
